Having seen my website and videos online, I received a contact form submission from Amy and Charles after they'd recently been engaged, to ask if I'd be available to perform at their wedding. They were holding the day on Friday, 10th July 2015 at Knowsley Hall in Liverpool, and were looking for some fun and unique wedding entertainment after the speeches. This is a perfect time for magic, as it's a brilliant way to kick off the night and it also avoids any potential 'lull' between the afternoon and the evening. There were around 95 guests during the time I'd be performing, so I suggested that 2 hours of close up magic would be ideal. Knowsley Hall is a stunning wedding venue (easily one of my favourites in Liverpool), and the sun was beaming, so it couldn't have been more perfect.
The guests, making the most of the weather, had moved to the outside garden area of the hall; and I've got to say I had an absolutely brilliant time performing. Everyone was in an incredible mood, and there was just a really fun buzz around the entire day which made it a real joy to be able to add to.
They'd also hired the amazing photographer Jeff Langhorne to shoot the day as well. Jeff showed me some of the pictures just before I left and they really did look fantastic! I'll be sure to upload them to the blog once he's able to email them across to me.
